The Ponce Church Diaconate serves our church family in three main spheres: mercy care, building care, and budget care.

• Mercy Care: The deacons seek to encourage our entire Ponce family to engage in mercy ministry. Mercy Ministry is the ministry of reconciliation: people moving closer to glorifying God by living in right relationship with God, with self, with others, and with the rest of creation. Mercy ministry is entering into one another’s suffering through relationships.

• Building Care: The deacons facilitate the ongoing maintenance of our beautiful and elderly building.

• Budget Care: The deacons keep track of the budget which is set by our Session committee.
